Liam, the founder of Bowbreaker, is a music producer and preformer that specializes in utilizing the electric violin to create unique soundscapes and live music productions. 

Liam began his musical journey on the violin at age 5, and started learning how to improvise when he was 12 years old. When he was 16, he had the fortune of meeting world renown electric violinist Mark Wood (original string master of Trans Siberian Orchestra, worked with Celine Dion, Kanye West, Billy Joel, and more), who inspired him to become a musician and pioneer a unique approach to music production. 

During the pandemic, Liam went under intensive study with Mark which further refined his techniques and music production skills. He is now pursuing a music production and business education at Point Loma Nazarene University.

Liam’s music production revolves around the idea that the electric violin can do everything. Using digital audio effect units, amp simulators, and synthesizer pedals, Liam processes the sound of a 6-stringed violin to make endless varieties of soundscapes, such as the tones of rock and heavy metal, the synthesizers of electronic dance/hip-hop beats, and the sounds of film and TV scores.
